Good source for bike parts
« on: May 09, 2009, 07:21:10 pm »
Okay, now that I have what I need, I can reveal a good source for parts.
http://www.bikeboneyard.com/

Way cheaper than ebay, and they are wrecking a good range of bikes. Prices are fair and shipping is quick and they take paypal.  Have some nice complete bikes as well.  You might just find that elusive part that has been  holding up a project for ten years like I did.

They certainly have some good stock.  It could be a a bit scary buying without seeing a photo but I guess that keeps the price down..

Yep, they seem good to me. I bought a Can-am tank from them and was happy with the service.
Also contacted them about the Greeves project they had for 500 usd, but they told me an Aussie had already bought it.

They charged me $75 US postage for an alloy swing arm that cost $76.70 to post.
They use Priority post.  I just bought a tt500 alloy tank, airbox, sidecovers and a couple of small parts and that came to $100 US for postage.
