Can anyone identify this numberplate , the headlight is a Yamaha , but I don't know what the plastic is from ?????

i reckon it looks different to the Pony one. It looks like the early IT one i reckon

Nope , don't think its a " pony ",and its not an early IT ,at least not 175 , this ones black plastic,not painted.  Can am or Monty perhaps ???

You are probably right about it not being a Pony Design. The black one looks to have a slightly thicker bead.

The headlight holders look IT.

yeah probably something euro then.

is there any markings on the back at all  like made in Italy or ART? could be some ancient Cemoto or Stilmotor item.

I'm no Montesa expert :P but Monty did have a few enduros with black headlight surrounds but to the best of my knowledge they were headlight holders/ number plates rather than separate head light and cutout number plate.
