Hi all!

Hi All!

My name's calvin. Im new to MX bikes and got myself a 1984 XL250R not too long ago. Its now undergoing a resto with the help of my brother. It wasnt too bad to start with, the ex-farm bike ran great once started, but it did have some trouble starting when hot due to an overflow problem. other bits just need abit of TLC. Overall its an awesome bike. I hope to hit the dirt sometime soon!

Heres a pic of the bike before i tore it apart  ;D ;D

Yeah, tyres do look very road biased for a farm bike?

Haha nah the road tires werent on the bike when I first bought it. It had full on knobbies at first so I put on a pair of old road legal tires to ride it around alittle first. Im still hanging on to the knobbies in case i wanna have alittle fun.

Im in Epping the northern suburbs of sydney. 20 mins+ from the old pac road, where I usually do my weekend riding ;D ;D.
