Sunday November 4 at Green Park, Conondale is the annual Western Districts Trials Club Twinshock and Classic Masters Trial.
Location is 1.5 hours North of Brisbane in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Come along and enjoy this popular event. There are usually plenty of bikes to look at from the 60s, 70s and 80s and some from the 50s.
As most VMX people know it is a great place to hold dirt bike events.
In Australian trials events, Twinshock is pre-88, two shocks, air cooled and drum brakes. Classic is pre-65 and is more strictly limited for major components and frame modifications.
This year there will be two grades for Twinshock riders to cater for the wide range of rider ability.
Most riders in Twinshock and Classic are devotees of these classes and ride their old bikes all year. Others who normally ride modern stuff drag out their old bikes and have a great time as well.
There will be modern bike classes too.
Free admission. Riding starts at 1000hrs. If you want a good squizz at the bikes, come along a bit earlier before they get too muddy.
