1975 AMA 500cc National Motorcross Series DVD
« on: February 21, 2009, 09:38:22 pm »
FYI.  Just picked up a copy of a DVD called One Chance to Win about the 1975 US 500cc National Championship ;D ;D.  Held over 5 rounds only that year( 2 x 40min + 2 laps motos) and features Weinert, Howerton, Tony D, Lackey, Stackable, Karsmakers etc.  Fantastic doco and it has great extras including interviews with most of the guys in recent years.  Lackey was awesome at the last race playing with Karsmakers mind!  Includes some footage of Jim Pomeroy on his Bultaco in Spain winning a GP.  Duke Video was selling it at the Gold Coast Motorcycle Expo.  The DVD has a trailer for a series of interviews called the MX Files - featuring the greats from back in the day.....seems like these may have been shown on pay TV somewhere????  Anyone know anything about that series ??? ??? ???

I've got One Chance to Win and the Bob Hannah dvd from the MX Files.. both very good. There are several more MX Files dvd's featuring other champions available in the US. Terry Good's site had some of them.
