SR 500 flywheel

need a good SR 500 flywheel or one that is the same. im not sure if the late model XT/TT also had CDI?

prefer one that hasnt been stored loose off a bike an has effectively lost its magnetisim

not sure if they are available new yet

anything you want for SR500/400 is available in Japan new as they are still in production. If you are not in a rush I can add it to my next order

do you know what they are in AUD or USD? i can order one from yamaha dealer in AU if needed, but would be nice to know a rough price first. probably wont be cheap

Be warned that there are two different flywheels and stator types for the SR500, the early type and the later type. The flywheels have different size keyways and the ignition pickups are also in different positions.

thanks CJ. the one we got has a pulled/moved magnet. the engine is a 78 or 79 i believe.
