Its the old catchcry "you get what you pay for "

here is a pic of a chinese front sprocket that has exploded.

this has then unloaded the chain thru the cover and trashed the stator.

The customer has learned that the E-bay bargain was not so good after all

Yeah my Montessa 304 did it also. The Monties have a tapered shaft for the sprocket & it broke through the keyway.
I got sick of DNFing trials with that thing so swapped it for a Fantic 243

Thats why we call chinese bikes dumpstas and the way we value them when someone wants to sell one is  - you check how much fuel is in the tank!!
