yz50 clutch basket
« on: February 11, 2009, 10:42:39 pm »
I picked up the little YZ for my boys with what sounded like big end knock. Not so, the clutch baskets large driven gear has broken away from its center. Gear has 68 teeth. Can anybody help?  Is this common for early YZ50 model 3R0?

u can buy it new still , $157 us at bikebandit so will be $350 locally , what i could do is sell u a complete clutch and primary gear from a yz 80 , will be higher geared , u would have to reduce the ratio at the final drive , and i don,t know if u can get a big enough rear sproket of or a small enough frount one primary ratio,s yz80 is 66/21   yz 50 is 68\19   steve ph 0412708957

Can you have it re-riveted ??  I've heard of that being done.  Is YZ60H the same ?
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.
