OSSA 250 SDR
« on: December 09, 2008, 05:36:51 pm »
Today is a good day. I got a few more bits for the SDR project, put some fuel in her first kick she gave a cough second she fired into life :D. Not to bad seeing the old OSSA hasn't run in over 20 years. I then had to load her onto the trailer and take her for a ride (no seat and rear shocks that the shafts are that rusty that they jam in)  She went well changed gear well the clutch worked good. So all I have to do is find a seat get the suspension sorted  put the lights back on her and rock up at the next Vinduro.

Hi Ross luckily I haven't had to get many parts. The tank and half the kick start I found through this forum. (thanks Macho Mick) I got a few Bits from OSSA world in the states and Mike Warner wheels made some spokes up for me.

We have a sand blaster at work it's had more use on my motorbikes than the any work gear. It's great especially for aluminium it comes out a bit rough then you hit it with a wire brush in the die grinder and it comes up 100% better than it was.

But as you Know finding part for parts for old Spanish bikes isn't the easiest. Alot of time on the internet
