xt500 parts wanted

g'day everyone. my name is owen, and i'm mainly on here to help out my uncle. he owns a 1977 Yamaha XT500 and is looking for a few bits and pieces. firstly, he is chasing a plastic, or metal rear chain guard. and also would like to know how to go about finding out what other points and condenser from another make/model of bike would fit his bike. any advice and help is greatly appreciated.
