Gorby no I didn't find one bloke. Since I posted this topic I've been unable to find the time to even drag the little beasty out for a picture session   starting to wonder if I'd not be better served fitting an early K0-K3 motor as this is the motor it was setup for mmm..anyway besides the point and nothing to do with the shroud so no, I'm still hunting.   oooh..maybe! I'm not 100% sure but it does look like the rad shroud..least I think so
any way of knowing, do they have ID numbers on the back like zuki's? I don't think I can fit the covers with the XR motor swap..maybe the left but the right has the carb sticking out the side. Unsure all depunds I geess but the shroud fer sure!

PM your postal address doc if you like and they will be on the way,the covers are from the same bike as the shroud.I can find the frame prefix just to make sure.

Thanks Gorby yur a legend! here's a pic of the roller. was thinking of looking for the original motor an restoring but I've just remembered Dodgee told me it has XR wheels for the correct sprocket alignment so it looks like the XR motor is the easiest way to go..just need to get me a bigger stick to beat off the squillion other XR75 enthusiasts who'll be hunting for the bits I want the yz engine whilst a lot rarer to find doesn't have quite the cult following so will see what turns up first
