Have a real good look at the bike and the text that goes with it.
Imagine the bike with faded plastics and you will have an idea of what i't really worth.

seems like a reasonable price for an RM400 killer ;)

about $500 or so in motor work, plastics look nice, fresh paint, all the hard to find bits..all things considered it does look to be a fair price as it sits.

When i see i bike tarted up like this i look at the things that cost the $ and see what they have done to make it "more presentable" When plastics have been painted, particulary old Suzuki plastics its only a matter of time before it comes away. The fact that this one looks as if the tank has been painted as well is a worry.  Any PE that still has the original shocks on it are going to be shite, even if they arn't leaking. When you look at the spokes that are rusted beyond belief i wonder what lurks beyond those fork gaiters. There's an expansion chamber supplied but not fitted that looks like a patchwork quilt. Bottom end has been done, does that inlude a rod kit? The bike will need a further grand spent on it to make it a "good" bike. Take the piston, rebore and maybe a rod kit away ($600) and you don't have a $1300 bike.

Bahnsy - Your spot on there old mate . The bike is over price for what she is , and where did he buy the rod from as I have been looking for the last 3 years to no avail . As I have 3 in total in varoius stages of repair I can tell you the gear boxs are as stuff as . Biggest problem is rod & O/s piston Kits , side covers still available NOS.
Bike is located 15 klm south of me  ;)
