If it's as good as it looks, I reckon $3500 is a fair price.
Nearly bought one in 1982............ but already had 2 other new Hondas, so I bought a 250 for the cheap rego............  :-\

The XR sat on that bloody rock up at his house for years. I'm pretty sure Geoff never rode it. He didn't have a very high opinion of XRs anyway. The bike wasn't a part of the GE collection that was auctioned off and it remained at the house for a while after GE passed until Vicki passed it on to Geoffs brother Porky. At least I think that's what happened to it. I can't believe it's been fifteen years.......it seems like yesterday.

Talk about farked right off!, The dickhead high bidder never made contact, had bodgey details registered with ebay so that forked that, second chance offers went out and got no reply's besides one jerk who said it now looks sus and offered me $2K, fork it I'll push the forker out in the paddock ,set fire to it and post it on You Tube before I sell it for 2K, they can all git farked, I'll just leave it in the shed. >:(
