problem is 2 many open meetings around, 2 weeks ago aussie classic nats, last weekend nsw seniors at coffs harbour, not a lot of club riders hold national licences eg,
canberra for example, our club days have 60 senior entries, with probably 5 national licence holders
Golden wheels series is an added expense with 10 rounds of dirt track racing between wagga, temora west wyalong, griffith, condo, what an expensive series to compete in
when golden wheels has had rain, new dates clash against local clubs in the riverina, thats good for the sport to hey?
my opinion is 2 many meetings happening, with less competitors than recent years, junior numbers have dwindled due to the 5 hr coaching programs each year for licence renewals.
I am in the MNSW dirt track sports committee and am looking for ways to improve our sport
