yamaha exhaust question please

 which 400/ 465 / 490 it or yz pipe has a bubble in the stinger , it bolts up to (am using it on ) 490 j , any advantage to have it ?or is it some sort of pre silencer ? may have to remove it for better fitting sidecover , thanks people

It's just a pre silencer that is probably cactus with age, just lose it if it helps fitting.

this is an old thread , also i don,t mean to be rude but the fact of the matter is , if anybody was fimiliar with the system in question , a  photo would not be necessary ,from memory  your the same person who requested a new to forum person move his question regarding a 465 from his intro to the yamaha  section  ?
