IT 175 G/H crankshaft

with no wear on bearing surfaces....especially the flywheel side.......i already have 2 of those ;D

old boss got an cr125 crank repaired by metal spaying the crank and got it ground back to size but arnt the yz125gh cranks the same as the IT?

Speedy sleeves go over the stock size shaft which would stop the bearing from going on.
Personally I machine down the shaft and custom fit a 4140 sleeve to return to stock size. I have had some dealings with hard chromed and ground repairs but by the time they go back to the chromers a couple of times to get the size correct that was a reject for me. The spray metal should be ok but to spray metal you need to get the shaft very hot in the process which could change the metallurgy/heat treatment of the underling material resulting in a shaft failure in the future. Same could happen with the hard chrome due to hydrogen embrittlement during the chroming process assuming you can find somewhere that can grind to close tolerances.
