Pro-Form exhaust fit

Hi all. I have a Pro-Form exhaust on my RM 400T at the cylinder head I can't seem to get a good seal, a little bit of smoke seems to leak out and oil gets on the front mudguard. Is there some sort of sealant I can use to stop it leaking?

I've had to cut & weld both PFR pipes l have bought for KX250A5's, one at the header for the problem you have.

i use Red RTV high temp silicon on my bike, it lasts for a few meetings.

just use common or garden silicon...1. clean all oil residue so its spotless. 2. fit it up and leave it set for 24 hrs or more before using. will last a few rides.

The tip I was given when using the red silicon was to let it sit long enough to form a skin before fitting & then don't fully secure it until the next day

whatever you use, leave it sit! my old kdx took a punt to the pipe and leaked pooh everywhere so after every enduro i would strip it, wire brush it, load it up with roof and gutter, reassemble it and leave it for at least over nite. Always lasted for a few rides and a big event before it started splooging out.
