Have recently bought a yzf450 2003 which from the owners description made a crack noise and stopped result hole in cases and other damage apon pull down a few pieces destroyed as one would expect. It appears this happens a bit age my intention is possibly get it going for a hack when parts become available .Hoping members might have some leads for other dead engines for bits like right side engine case ,counter balance shaft ,crank ,barrel, piston I think all the normally required bits. Have found crankshaft but not sure if its a 426 or 450 yet. Have sat it175 engine in place tons of room but counter sprocket on wrong side will be keeping options open for heart transplant. The rod has completely separated from crank a few pieces left under crank weights new to this modern ish 4 stroke stuff so this should be interesting. Pm any leads thanks ELC hunter.
