Chasing a decent tank 1978 model.

Hi Mate,

I have one here that came to me on a TY 80 JE,  the cap is on the right and it is painted yellow. Feels a little heavy but does not leak. PM me an email and I will send photos, I am happy to post and it is the only XR 75 part I have.

Cheers

xr 75 fuel tanks are like rockin horse poo, let alone a good one. A mate of mine tried to import some from usa, not a lot of success, they look the same but they dont fit, the underside is different

Early 4 speed tanks are shorter than the later 5 speed tanks which is what yours is, the first of the XR80 tanks up until the 82 will work on the 5 speed but the shape is not correct if you want originality, The only repo tanks I have seen are for the 73 KO, I have one it's pretty ordinary on the underside :'(
I have a reasonable condition, dent free 79 XR80 tank which will polish up well, if any good to you for $120 plus post, What other bits do you need?  I have some bits & pieces :)
