Hi all, can someone please tell me the correct length of an RM 125b rear axle, l have one but it seems a bit long

Is that overall length or inside of button end to end of thread. Mine is264mm overall length and 254mm inside of end button to end of thread 254 mm.
I have about 15mm of thread sticking out after axle nut is

You e got the right one Craig. I have the alloy arm on mine which is thicker than the steel one where the axle goes through. I have 5mm thread showing.

Yes .... you have the correct axle , as Ted has pointed out they used the same axle on both arms.
