Castella Vinduro - still happening?

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the Castella Vinduro is still going ahead. Haven't seen any reference to it lately...

We have jumped a few paper hurdles and Castella Vinduro will be happening on the 30th of October.

That's right, the Castella Vinduro is taking place as scheduled on Sunday 30 October.

The event is completely on private property, so bikes don't need to be registered, and an MA licence is required. We'll have single event licences available.

Bikes must be pre 1985 models, must be in a safe condition and should not be too noisy.

Entry is at the event. Entry/indemnity forms will be available to download soon, so entrants can fill them out prior to arrival.

The tight single-trail at Castella is legendary, and we're really looking forward to hosting an enjoyable ride as our final event for 2016.

Getting to the Castella Vinduro:

Venue: "Bingara Dell", 60 Campbells Creek Road, Castella.

Directions: Campbells Creek Rd runs off Castella Road which is accessible by either the Melba Highway (B300) or Healesville-Kinglake Road (C724).

Anyone know what's the weather been like down there  ?

Thanks to Steve Juzva, Paul Kalika, Jamie Aked, Leisha Aked, Rachelle Wilkinson, Geoff Morris, all the riders, and everyone else who made the final VERi event for 2016 a great success.

How tricky was that single trail? One rider commented that if he rode any more goat trails he was going to grow horns!

This was a great way to finish off what's been a very successful season for the club. The committee is already working on events for next year, so stay tuned for announcements.

Absolute cracker of a day ,l had a blast! The single trail was bloody fantastic,smiles all round, Thanks Juz and all the Veri team ,what a great way to finish the year@ the home of Australia's first  VINDURO!
