« on: October 15, 2016, 02:07:04 pm »
I am looking for advice of the size carb that I would fit and work good on my SDR project?
I want to replace the IRZ with a Mikuni or Keihin.
Thanks
for the help

i'm running 36 delorto on super pioneer motor,so 34 /36 be ok on your SDR,dosent seem to worry mine down low in the revs either?,VTR posterboy Jim has a 36mikuni on his later Ossa SP,nfi on the Keihin, assume an early CR250 carb?,basically suck it n see James, :P
ps dora the explorer  has 27 mikuni, but i fast "trials" it at vinduros
work, the curse of the racing class!!
if a hammer dosn't fix it,you have a electrical problem!!

Go the Mikuni   easy to buy new and for parts

SDR  34mm Mikuni
main 250
pilot 40
needle jet Q6
needle 6FJ6
slide 3 cutaway

TTS 32 to 1 mix

Easy fit the SDR should have spigot fitting std only the aircleaner ID size might have go to K-N filter

Cheers  :)
