A great event if you like to test yourself.
Pairs and teams of 4 still available.

From Transmoto today-
Due to popular demand, we've opened up more entries in the Pairs category for the 2016 edition of the Transmoto 8-Hour, powered by Yamaha. We've done this because the category was sold out just days after tickets went on sale in March.

"Transmoto's off-road events are all about mateship and having a good time," says Transmoto's Event Manager, Robbie Warden. "By entering the Pairs category, you and your best mate will be able to each enjoy four hours of riding on this exclusive course, set in an absolutely epic location."

Property owners, Christian Barrett and Steven Hall, have been working tirelessly with a committed group of locals and dirt bike legends to create a challenging course that includes rocky hillclimbs, flowing singletrail and undulating grasstrack with spectacular valley vistas. It will cater for riders of all skill levels.

The Ironman category remains sold out, but there are still limited Team-of-Four positions available. Enter quickly to ensure that you don’t miss out on an unforgettable High Country experience at Dargo, Victoria, on April 16-17.

Email [email protected] if you have any questions you’d like cleared up before registering.

It was a testing track that asked much of rider and machine. I completed the 12 hour in 2013 at Batemans bay, which was a walk in the park compared to this venue.
Hills, rock, off camber with pine roots, rock, tight undulating single and did I say rocks. A great technical track that demanded rider fitness.
Unfortunately I DNF after skipping off a root and crushing my modern YZ expansion chamber and injuring my hand (nothing broken). Im glad I didn't punt my IT around as the brakes would have made it interesting.

Here's some video from the track-

and a long hill

The oldest bike I saw on the loop was a 1990 YZ250 and he was having fun.

The event was excellent, however I'll test myself on less demanding tracks in future- like wedderburn next month.

Cheers Tony
