We got these photos from Klub Kevlars Swedish delegate Per-Arne Westling of last Sundays race meet. Pre 65 is still the # 1 class in the Scandanavian countries.
The below photo shows that the Swedes aren't scared to get their museum pieces down and dirty. From left to right we have a Monark 500 #19 which is identical to the current VMX cover bike except for the colour, an ESO unit Metisse, similar to Black Betty #54, a rare as rocking horse shit Husky HVA 61, also identical to the Monark and Lito and the other identifiable bike is an equally rare Hedlund. Monarks, Litos and Husky HVA 61 are valued at between 30 and 60k depending on the bikes history. Alan Jones is bringing in a Monark and Husky 67 is negotiating a Husky GP. Hedlunds are worth even more!

Almost as rare and exotic is this AJS 7R 350 powered Metisse. AJS 7R engines are worth a small fortune these days.

Below is a different approach to pre '65 racing. It's a current model Indian made Royal Enfield 500 converted to motocross. Even though the bike is brand new, it's legal for pre '65 as it's almost identical to the 50s/60s version. I believe they'd be legal here as well. How pretty is that?
