I fully insure* my 754 VMX Sidecar for somewhere between ten and twelve thousand dollars (including return to me salvage rights if the nasties happens) with Shannons insurance. Cost? $61 a year or $5.60 a month..
* excludes actual on the race track competition only. Does cover to and from meetings on trailer/ute.

I have been very happy so far with them . Tim754      https://www.shannons.com.au/insurance/motorcycle-insurance/

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

I agree with Tim - 3 bikes insured for somewhere around $32K - $15 a month - covered for everything except when under own power ie racing.

Same here Shannons, I have my road bike covered for replacement value the price was better than the other companys.  I also have 3 of my old garage queens insured for $8000 each. The first was around $60 and then the price drops down for each additional bike covered the other insurance companys would not cover any of the unregistered bikes.
If they are damaged or stolen while garaged, or away from home or even traveling they are fully insured.       Zane
Everyday I find one more name to add to the list of people who piss me off.
