The Force Awakens
« on: December 17, 2015, 07:55:06 am »
Went to the midnight session of the latest in the Star Wars franchise. No spoilers here, a few impressions it's not all hype, JJ Abrahams did an incredible job of extracting the best elements of the original  movie. Not a dull moment and very funny. Special effects are stunning but it's character and story based. In Molly Meldrums famous words "Do yourself a favour............." :D

ha ha yes thinking the same thing myself,my daughter asked when the next one was coming out while the credits were rolling. Was only thinking today how good Harrison Ford's performance was, it was like he was acting Han Solo purely for the love of it.

You won't be disappointed 3D is unreal and must admit I ducked once :D

All this Star Wars stuff seems to be popular, specially with youngens like Lozza ( I would have inserted a smiley face here but I don't know how ) I just don't get it, I would rather watch an old western.

Not the gay one.

(Well there was that one time on Vulcan when Spock was in heat and was wrestling with Kirk.)

Went and saw it yesterday. Still buzzing - been a long time since I've enjoyed a movie that much. Nostalgia is one thing, but this is a GOOD movie in it's own right.
The kids both LOVED it.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
