AC/DC
« on: November 10, 2015, 11:10:07 pm »
G'day viewers I went & saw AC/DC on Saturday night & I have to say bloody hell the boys are still going strong. Old Angus did a guitar solo 4 about 15 minutes. I'm very lucky as I don't normally venture out to bands but my girl friend woman or what ever you call them these days. Likes to  show me what normality is after being married to a demon for 20 years & not having a social life. You could say she's been restoring me 4 the last 19 months. I'm starting to feel like I'm her barn find lol jimson
Just a balless freak having a go

Won't be far behind you, am off to Adelaide for that gig.  Haven't seen 'em since 2001!!!!!  Good to know they're going strong.

Next will be Black Sabbath here in Melbourne next April, then Iron Maiden in Brisbane next May.

Think how much I could have spent on the CR :o :o :o

I saw AC/DC a few years ago in Brisbane QSAC stadium.
While it ticked the "Bucket List", the venue was way too big. Except for the big screens anyone could have been on stage.

I've been to a few SX events there too. After the last one, I've vowed never to go back.

I saw them when I was a lad (1987?). They were and are the only band I've ever seen make it worth the ticket price to see them in a large venue.

I think the current term is Bae, Jimson.

I wonder if there is an Oz Vintage Motorcyclist forum somewhere where girls go and barnfind old motorcyclists and then tell longwinded stories about whether to leave the patina on them or go for a nuts and all resto...

Funny stuff. I still have my original 8-track tape "Back in Black" from the early 80's. They are still
very popular over here.
