Good luck, they are the top source of no go on the Ag200 >:(. People tend to send them to the specialists like "Small coil rewinds" for rebuild /upgrade if serious.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Have a farmer mate with an XT200 & XT125 which i think has the same basic [pain in the arse] ignition bits as the AG200, so good luck with that. Had intermitant ign problems & got a couple of stators & boxes plus main coil from a wrecker mate to try & got totaly bamboozalled as nothing worked 'all the time'. Just when you thought she'd fixed--you'd be walking home. The 200 ended up [in the end] being a loose fitting double connector for the trigger coil--still going a year later. 125 i think he parked it so no doubt one day i'll have to have another go. Damn it i bypassed the loom, & even went down the road with my peak voltage meter hooked into the source coil wires then the trigger wires waiting for an instant stop of voltage while the motor kept revolving to a halt. Too long ago now but it'll come back to bite me again. Realy light gauge wires on the trigger by memory. Had an idea [might still do it] of fitting a 12 volt battery powered [dc] cdi cheapy chinese box & just use the original trigger [then find it was the trigger all along yeah i know]. Think it's only a 6 volt alternator on these bikes but maybe it'll charge just enough at revs through an unregulated rectifier. [I dunno-guessing]. Found a box off a Kawy KFX90 4 stroke quad which i thought might work but experimented with it on my RT3 yam of all things just using the trigger from a yz stator & small rotor but [of course] it had a large 4 stroke advance curve built in but bloody well retarded above idle as was running on the wrong direction & wrong side of the motor & of course the AG200 is also on the left so that Fks that idea. Stop reading & go to bed it's late--well it is here!!. ps, idled perfect lol. Put the same box on the neighbours KFX50 which retard back to about tdc at 5 grand to tame it for the kids & it certainly does that, but this unrestricted box had it going so damn fast i put double valve springs in but took the box off in the end before someone got hurt. [After school care with up to 30 kids--potential for disaster]. Anyway-what was the question again!!.
