Fox airshox on CR250
« on: April 24, 2015, 02:51:32 PM »
Hi, another technical question for the red devil experts.  Is it necessary to skim down the outer body at the top of the fox airshox to enable the side covers to fit correctly.  I have a set that apparently came off a CR250 but there was only minimal skimming in that area so not really sure of the answer.

I am aware of the modifications needed on the swing arm shock mount and I have taken a little off the top foxshox housing mounting section to accommodate the top bolt cap on the frame, but the side cover clearance is new to me.

A photo or any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't had to modify the sidecovers on either a 78 or 80 model to accommodate the FOX SHOX.
