I've nevefr been there, wrong continent. If it is Farleigh Castle it can't be the 1974 Motocross des Nations.

These are for sale in England; can't say I've ever laid eyes on a pair (brass shin guards??):

The much dreaded Ashman Red Devils! They were the worst boots I ever owned and are one of the reasons I walk with a pronounced limp today. These are even worse than the dreaded Rossis for poor ankle protection. I get a shudder just looking at the photo!

They'd co-ordinate beautifully with the pink Maico you owned some time back... ;)
