Britten Fest (not VMX)

Went to Pukekohe on the weekend and took in a pair of Brittens going about, not VMX but big booming Vee Twins

Quite a spectacle in the flesh, I hear they are getting as many as possible to Ruapuna for the Bears meeting. I interviewed Stroud once some years ago and he told me "off the record" at some length how and why he thought they'd have had much more success with a conventional front end, interesting.
Yes, not vmx but any bike fan will find plenty to drool about in looking round these babies.
And they go.... 8)
Nostalgia's not what it used to be....

These are the only 2 being used at the moment, the USA one is insured for USD 800,000

I like that Stroud will still wheel stand the length of the main straight on it. They have a bit of a dirt heritage as some of the inspiration came from the Denco speedway engines.

Anyway good day out lots of McIntosh Manx Nortons and other goodies.
