Motorcycle tragic
« on: November 22, 2014, 04:41:09 pm »
Hi guys , I've been reading VMX forums for years , but never joined the mayhem
I currently have a fleet of Honda restos in the shed . Some completed and the rest are on a promise .lol
The Rickman Mettise sits in the lounge (everyone needs a bike in the house !!) and it seems to polarise visitors . Guys response --- wow that's cool , their partners --- don't even think about it ! lol
The current project has been a tough one .
Trackmaster copy frame for an SL 125 engine . bored and stroked to 150cc with a Poweroll crank and special head form a US tuner (not a great experience) CR 125 elsinore running gear and plastics
A friend pored hours into making the frame and I can't thank him enough !
Why to do it ?
Always wanted one when I was a kid and drooled over exotica ever since
The GMC frames are cheap !!!!! compared to making one
Hopefully running by xmas !!
Steve

Hey Steve, looking forward to seeing some pix.
I have a few bikes in the house.  The missus can move into the shed if she doesnt like it.
Cheers,
Alex

The House bike is very cool and my partner enjoys my passion for all things motorcycling ( maybe enjoys is embellishing things a bit . lol )
Will put some pics up of the Trackmaster asap
There is also a CCM ( needing a few small touches to finish , A Maico and a fleet of much loved Elsinores !
