Vinduro NSW Update
« on: July 13, 2008, 05:44:32 PM »
Pete , Ribbo and I had the opportunity on the week-end to visit a property at Yass in NSW ,  2.5 hrs from Sydney.
We awoke on Saturday morning and it was freezing (6.0mm ice and frost on everything).
Like all tough as teak enduro riders ,we manned up and had a two course breakfast in front of the fire until the frost melted.
We rode on the property Saturday / Sunday and we are pleased to advise that this property will be available to us to run Vinduro events. The terrain is fantastic with challenges for all types of riders.
This is now the second property that is firmly available to us and it looks like Ribbo has secured the third.
We have another event in September-08 at Rockley and next year we have plans for a series of three events on the three different properties now available us.

Go well , Go Vinduro

Are you talking about Mick W's place, or somewhere else?

No matter, I'm in. :)

Me too, sounds great. My IT175 should be a goer by next year so I am definitely up for it.

To add to Shoey and Ribbos welcome new Vinduro venues, another may just pop up in the new year, located between Marulan and Goulburn. More news after the logistics are sorted.

The property at Yass belongs to the third amigo's (Pete) close family friend.

So if Mark (Firko) can secure a property , next year will be a series of 4 events

Next years series will also be non competitive Poker runs and perhaps 2010 we will have a couple of additional which will be competitive vinduro's.

The main purpose of the poker run's is give it a more social feel as well as the MA formalities are much much much less with a non competitive event.

Dont forget there is still another event at the Great Rockley property in September 08 with some great prizes on offer.

So come on , go well , go vinduro

Hell yes! :) x1000

And Anna wants to know how hard the course(s) will be, particularly at the Yass venue. She is a bit scared of single track that's not dead flat, and of big hills.
