Looks like a Texas race engine to me. Comes with a spare head fin too. This won't last.

Spraying it with diesel ...yep she's a strip down and rebuild. Bet the big end is rooted and little black marks are on rod journal  / bearing. ;)

Where do these tossers get their prices from?
$1800 for an engine of unknown cond that probably needs a full rebuild..!

my guess is the main "racing engine" mods are porting and deck height set up to the barrel  .....and that's probably shagged.... so your buying a stock engine really.
