After a long think about it, i have decided to sell my much loved 1981 RM250X. i did try to sell it once before, but not very hard..
THis is a two owner bike, in perfect condition, ridden in VIPER when work allowed for the last few years. When i got it i completely stripped it down and replaced everything and anything that looked worn, but the beauty was being a one owner nothing had been butchered or botched up. It now has a 83 model 43mm front end with twin leading shoe brake, emulators in the forks, fork tubes re-chromed by RAD , with new bushes and seals, new .44 springs, shock shaft rechromed by RAD, new seal head, new custom 5.4kg spring, all swingarm, rocker bearings replaced, wheel bearings, steering head bearings, all cables all plastics (OEM, not aftermarket) new seatcover, twinair airfilters, rebore to 1st o/size, genuine SUZUKI piston etc, new clutch plates, mains etc etc, new bars grips, brake shoes , tyres excellent and so-on. New graphics from the U.K, although the tank ones have lifted a little. Asking $3800, and i will try to get some photos up soon.
