DT175 info

hi can anyone tell me whether or not the engine side cases are the same on the different year models ie is a 76 the same as a 77, 78 , etc. also are other parts interchangeable .cheers

     Pretty sure they are
     I used a set of 3eu cases and put all my IT 175 D stuff
     into those cases its the same Fit

I think you will find the 125 parts will fit in a lot of times too .
Yamaha tragic ; dt1, rt1, dt2, rt2, dt2mx , rt2mx , mx250, mx360,sc500, 74dt125, yzx125, yzc250, yzc400, yzd250, yzd400, yzh250, yzh80 , dt100 , xr75 ko xr80 03 , it175 82 . Not a member of any club

Monoshock motors are different to twin shock, even though they are based on the same architecture.

WRT the clutch covers, the later ones have a relief for the kick starter return spring, and there's at least one bolt hole in a different spot. They are also visibly different (raw aluminium with recessed "YAMAHA" on the early, black painted with raised "YAMAHA" on the later).
