Garage clean out
« on: July 01, 2008, 07:20:34 pm »
Hi All,

Since I have a bit of spare time on my hands, I've launched into a shed clean out and I've got a bit of stuff that I'll put up on ebay on the weekend if noone here wants it.

I'm not really in a position to get involved in wrapping stuff up and posting it, so if you want it you'll have to find your way to the Blue Mountains (Springwood area, NSW) to collect.
As you can see, everything is cheap- I just want to clean up the junk I'm not using.

If you want anything, send me an email at [email protected] or call me on 0412 169255 anytime.

Rossi MX Boots. No size written on these, but they are a whisker too small for me and I'd place them at around 42- pretty close. They have been well looked after and are in excellent nick for an old set of boots. All the straps and buckles are fine. Heaps of tread. The leather is supple and will last for years with proper care. $50

Another pair of Rossis. Again no size, but I'd place them at 41. Too small for me. Well used and could do with some TLC. All straps and buckles work fine. Plenty of tread. $25

Falco road boots. size 43. Almost brand new- hardly used. Lovely soft leather. Perfect zips and velcro. A smidgeon too small for me. $70

Alpine Star road boots. size 43, but a pretty snug 43- more like a 42 really. Zips, and press studs work fine. These are quality leather boots. A bit old skool, and they'll last decades yet. Cool K81 tread pattern ! $45

Magellan Pioneer GPS. I've had this for about 5 years and it used to work fine. Then I didn't use it for about two years and now it can't seem to find any satellites- buggered if I know why. But if you're a bit GPS savvy you might be able to get it to work. Comes with original box and manual, as well as a proper Magellan attachment cord to pick up power from a 12v cigarette lighter socket. $25

BMW Tankbag. This definately retro/old skool, and I've seen pictures of the same bag on old R60s with Earls forks and stuff. It's in really good nick. The straps have all been replaced (not by me) and are pretty well new. It comes with some kind of a waterproof plastic cover. The clear plastic screen to put your map in is clear and nice. All the zips work fine and smooth. Bargain- $40

TTR250 aftermarket pipe. The muffler says "HRC" and it bolts straight up to my TTR250- 2000 model. . It's a bit noisier than I really wanted so I've never used it to any great extent. It also needs an extra bracket to properly support the back section if you're riding in rough stuff. The whole thing is new, and weighs about a quarter of the original lump. Bargain- $75

Air compressor and spray gun. This is a bit of an antique and it looks it too. It's been in the family since probably the mid 70s- I remember painting a CB72 and a Cooper S in about 1975 with it ! The compressor works fine 'though I think the spray gun has a few issues. Great for blasting crud out of carby jets or oil passages in crankcases etc. Bargain $30

This CIG Macmillan V-twin compressor used to work a treat 'til about three or four years ago when the motor died. I took the motor off to get repaired and the bloke couldn't fix it. I never got around to getting a new motor. The original motor was 2hp/2840rpm and I think the compressor was 6CFM. That's all from memory and I'm not really sure $100%. Bargain- $30

Hey Nitram, I'm interested in the Alpine Stars but I can't see a price. Pls advise.
Just let me confirm my size, ta.
