Whats with the V75? Was it a vibrater or is this damage poor owner maintenance?

Can't explain the front motor mount, but we alway's boxed in the
rear motor mount for strength.

Jared, is that rear mount standard or has it had extra plate welded to the side (for extra thickness). The front looks like it had a strap welded around the mount as well.

Looking closely at the frame, it appears to be a 73 VR or 74
Enduro frame.  These two models had the one piece front motor
mount. (later models used the alloy plate attachment)  I also see
the airbox mounts on the frame, which consisted of two bolts on
either side, which mounted a small "bath tub" style airbox, that
could easily fit between the added frame stiffners.
It does appear that some extra metal has been added to beef
up the motor mounts.

Thanks Jared. You know that I'm a 'Montesa Ignoramus' - but I learning  ;) ;D.

I only recently got this frame and I probably won't have study it as close as I have except for the other thread. I'm not sure if it will be suited to my hopes for it. It is fairly rusted and needs to be cleaned thoroughly to access. The rust is bad in that it is blistering in places. It may be terminal rust cancer especially in hidden places like up in the steering head.

;D From this side of the pond America seems to be awash in cheap interesting bikes and bits of all types, colours and creeds ;). If it wasn't so full of Americans it might be a good place to live ;D.
