1980 PE250 Fork Servicing
« on: July 24, 2008, 12:31:25 am »
In preperation for the Vinduro, i thought i'd better service the forks on the 80 PE250.
Does anyone have handy the fork oil level & cc quantiy and the suggested psi for a 105 kg rider?
Got plenty of specs for the RM but not the PE.

Thanks, Bahnsy.

Fast facts book states 308cc of 5W/20 oil no psi though. I run 15PSI of nitrogen in my Fox forks, so I would imagine somewhere between 5-15PSI would suit. Use a heavier oil if you want to slow the rebound down a little.
Cheers,
