where can I get a rear mudguard like that for my husky?

Certainly won't be found in a beauty parlor  . They are an acquired taste shall we say

It's an '82 KTM MC rear mudguard. DC have them.

Great looking bike.
A bit off topic but been trying to work out where the CR500 82 fits in to the models.
Was the first one to come out the 82.5 silver streak?
Is it the same frame as the CR430?

But, they will have a different range of numbers.

With the result, some seemingly 82.5 silver streaks may infact be of doubtful providence and integrity, made up from perhaps a parts bin of five other 80's Swedish machines from 125 capacity upwards. Check frame numbers, check for restamping of numbers, which may well be a criminal offense? Certainly, true values are impacted.

Twin shock frame changed in 83 and easy to tell apart from 82 model so there won't be any replicas using 83 or later frames. The first 500 air cooled engine appeared in 82.5. Last was made in 84. So a fake 82.5 will be using an engine from 83 or 84 and a frame from 81 or 82 most likely. Will be a beast of a bike

And could even be a 125 frame. Probably not a problem unless you have paid $12k thinking it was the real deal.

82/83/84 all have the same engine number 2094.

And many of the bikes with race history will possibly not have an engine number at all.
