Unless your in a wheel chair or dead you get zip,  gone are the days when people take responsibility for there own actions, it's now a case of who can I sue, like Alison said just the way society is going, we are fast becoming if not already are the 53rd state of America, for me the cost of it all is taking the fun right out of it, no wonder some clubs are going it alone, and doing very well from all reports...

You wonder what the insurance covers, a guy from our club is in hospital with a broken neck got at a dirt track meeting . What is covered.

Riders are covered for certain injury, check the manual.

For the most part, MA insurance is not for the rider that is injured.
It is mostly about stopping MA, officials and other competitors from being sued.

Well VMX page 71 is an interesting read, I think i qualify for claim number:
5 Permanent and Incurable Insanity $50,000
I could get me an OW40 and an SR with the $50K

ANY form of motorsport has, and will always be an expensive pastime/hobby. Imagine being a drag racer with a $100K car. Drive it in a trailer across the country, try to qualify in 4 runs for a total of, lets say 40 seconds, and then blow the motor up.... I'll stick with old bikes thanks.
