That's true Dennis, but then again, I can hold the YZF WFO and get 'er sideways at DT and that's a mighty addictive feeling, even if I am lucky to beat last place.  As for handbrakes Ekka... No. And I don't wear pants either.  I think Twisty's the same.

But you're right - the vinduro at Balltearer Springs should be great fun, it's a nice little spot.

These type of events offer plenty of riding for the entry fee  ......excellent value  I believe.
     
    Very pleased to have these  opportunities to have a real good weekend of riding on my 2 old bikes.
        (a big thanks to all those  involved in making these  events  happen)
 
  Great to see more of these type of events in NSW..... at long last .
   
  Make the effort to get along to a few  , if you can  , so , hopefully , they can  continue .

Track is looking good also the weather forecast 20to21 degrees wishing it was Saturday already  entry numbers looking good, still some spots available ( almost on par with the post classic numbers     and yes I did the post before it got deleted    ) plus a little surprise for riders who enter and also ride  so will see you on Saturday cheers Ek

You cannot help the wet weather we have been receiving and the much needed rain is good for the land. The forecast of possible cancellation from Marion complete with notifications on Thursday is really pro active.

Flagging possible cancellation of weekend 12/13th Vinduro at Ballallaba Springs due to rain. We have had a lot of rain to date  and unfortunately for our Vinduro Event, Thursday and Friday heavy rain is forecast.

This is an early alert for those who are travelling long distances....

I will contact you again on Thursday night for a definite Yes or No, so please check your emails and text messages - I will send it to both.

Hard to believe there's a drought. That's 4 out of the last 5 Heaven meets canned because of rain. Lucky we have plenty of them.

10 events 2013 (1.5 washed out)
3 events to date 2014 (2 washed out)

If you go back over time it is just lately that we have had a bad run

2011 no washout (one dusted out from memory)
2012 10 events - (no washouts)
2013 10 events - (1.5 washouts first event and half of the last)
2014 3 events to date - (2 wash outs)  bugga

Heaven have a commendable record for running meetings in the wet , i remember numerous events that were run in atrocious conditions and were real fun. Some of the early Crawford River Classic's were just that, Classic events in those wet conditions. I guess it just depends on the track  . The rural folk are revelling in the current conditions, its braking the drought in some areas.

Plenty of time to catch up and rec. ride in the bush

 Look forward to  Canowindra  Vinduro   for the next opportunity  to ride the old bikes  ...was a great ride last year !

It is a shame about this event I was looking forward to it to.But I will be out setting up at Canowindra this weekend now to make it a great weekend at the end of May.We have a new venue and it should be a good gentle ride ,with a mix of open and bush riding ,Hope to see everyone here in May ......Cheers Greg
