It's nearly time for VMX again...
« on: June 08, 2008, 10:10:20 am »
Hi everyone.  I guess some of you guys have started haunting your local newsagent...because VMX is slightly late again.  Sorry about that chief!

Our excuse is that CD5 takes a very substantial chunk of time out of the magazine production schedule and of course we have to include it's report in the next mag as well.  So anyway, the mag is now at the printers and we can tantalise you with the next cover.  ;D

Err, sorry for the low res jpg.  For some reason, I couldn't get it to preview properly.  >:(

Looking good AJ. Nice to see Sten Lundins Lito/Monark/Husky (they're all the same, only the colour and tank badge differs) on the cover. The Sydney VMX scene is soon to have both a Monark and a Husky version of these rare as shit GP bikes amongst us, adding to the ever growing number of works bikes arriving from OS.

Hey thanks Firko.

I had the good fortune to see that bike in the metal last year and it's truly an impressive thing. 8)

It also has a real "aura" about it, being the bike with the largest number of world MX wins of all time.  It was only a matter of time before it found it's way onto the cover.  ;)

What a piece of art!
Picture it without the knobbies and it looks like a beautiful old classic road bike; which I suppose it is.
Is it just my perception or is that a reeeally long and tall top end?
"Whadaya mean it's too loud?! It's a f*ckin' race bike!! That pipe makes it go louder - and look faster!!"

OK, the wait is nearly over.  ::)

I am pleased to be able to advise that issue #34 was mailed out to subscribers TODAY.  :)

I understand it will be on sale at news agents by the 25th June.

We like this issue... we hope you do as well  ;D
