3rd year of high school owned a DT 125 please can I go back , no hassles , no mastercard , just ride as soon as I got home . Iain

Mmmm  1974 ... I was a second year apprentice plumber, and my only mode of transport then was a Dt 250 Yamaha, and it was very loyal by getting me to work every day for 2 years ;
 
In 3 years time I was to meet the love of my life and Marry her shortly after...

Grade 10 and riding a CZ125 road bike and a 100cc Manet scooter on the beach at Straddie and at my parent's farm at Thornlands. Both were amazingly reliable bikes. I'd like to say I also rode the Tiger Cub around, but it never went more than about 2 km between engine rebuilds
