Broadford, bikes required for display tonight.
« on: February 11, 2014, 11:32:48 am »
Hey Guy's,  Mitchell Recreational Motorcycle Club is putting on a 'family' film-night at Broadford speedway track this Sat night, included in the evening will be a maintenance class for kids, showing how to maintain bikes (clean airfilter, change oil etc), a suspension class (for the older kids & dads with no experience) and a vintage dirtbike display.

This eveing is free for anyone to attend, we expect the classes to get underway around 5.30pm, stop for food around 6.30pm and movies starting around 7.30pm.

The speedway shed will be set up with seats and areas for kids to lay out mattress & sleeping-bag for the night, many staying all night.

Would any of you guys be able to bring out a vintage dirtbike or two for a few hours, we will arrange a display and take some pics.  If you could roll-up about 4.30pm/5.00pm to set-up, that would be great.  Please let anyone know that you think may be able to bring out a bike, thanks.

The Dirt-Track practise day is running all day on Sat, and the Mitchell MX ride-day is running as per normal on the Sunday.

If anyone wants to bring a bike out for a couple of hours, that would be great, any genre (speedway, trials, enduro, mx), anything pre 2000.  We've got about 100 families registered as coming tonight, should be fun.

Dirt-Track practise is on all day, setting up bike display around 4.30/5.00pm, kids maintenance & suspension classes start at 5.30pm, canteen having meals available at 6.30pm, bike movies starting about then.

Mitchell ride day on Sunday.
