CR500 Being Thrashed
« on: November 28, 2013, 08:49:44 am »
Someone forgot to tell this kid you can not ride a 500 like it was a 125.  ;D

He does slow down a bit at the end.

Reminded me of Hoony on his 500 ;D

Not sure if he slowed down at the end or they just started showing more slower sections, tighter corners and whoops etc.

I wonder how it would go if someone produced a modern 450 2 stroke and took it to the 450 class?

Traction is where the 4T's have an advantage. As where 250 two and four strokes race togther the two stroke have a clear power advantage but don't win all the races.
Jesus only loves two strokes

The 500's have always been described as a fearsome bike, but clearly the top riders like in the old days can throw them around like a 125 ;D

If I new how to post photo's I would show you pics of myself fanning the clutch to kane a CR500 get going in a turn.
Jeff Leisk would be fanning the clutch were most were braking to get the 500 hooked up, once used to it, it is not hard and unless your on a hotted up Service Honda it is not that hard.
Mind you if your on a 500RF raise the exhaust and hog out the Boysen ports to spread the mid range or you will suffer after 5 minutes.
