Gorby, the cable part no. is 45450-KA4-711 going by the Honda parts fiche. I don't know how to cross reference to see if the 700 you have is about the same? any chance of a pic?

yep , the one i have is xr , and doesn,t have the cable lug , xr,s must have had the cable lug on the fork
