Cool Harley on its way to Oz.
« on: February 05, 2014, 11:27:49 am »
This sweet Buell Blast racer has been purchased by a well known Briz Vegas character and is on its way to Oz as you read this. The Blast is a 500 single half a Harley sold by Buell in a number of different guises, among them, café racer, street cruiser and flat tracker. They were a bit of a flop and actually contributed to Buell's going to the wall. This particular flat track version has all of the bells and whistles as the description describes. It'll take pride of place in what's already an impressive collection and will hopefully be raced.

Buell Blast Dirt Tracker. 1 of 17 C&J framed bikes. A part of dirt track history. C&J frame, f4 forks, Penske Shock, 3 Spoke PM Wheels, Brembo Brake, Weiss Clamps, Afam Bars, 515cc Nallin Kit with best after market valve train goodies, Titanium valves, Texter H-D custom clutch cover, 44hp. Comes with hand held starter. extra stock primary cover, extra carb, pvl ignition and what ever stock bits we have. We are rather certin this is C&J frame #3 of the 17 that they made. I've confirmed this with C&J on the phone about 2 years ago. I (along with many others) helped assemble it when Pete started this project. This bike was the project of Pete Giammalvo of Sideways Promotions. We'd like to see go to a good home or museum. Pick up in North Central Ma. Selling for Pete's Widow sorry no trades.
