Beautiful vandy looks as if this will do a yz360a and B's aswell as the 214 rod does a number of bikes including the yz250a yz360a and the b models also.
Look's like rosco is on a winner for the money.

I do prefere oem though for my bike's if I can find the parts etc.
Did the pro x have a slot on the big end for lubrication??

seems we could talk about rods for a while hey.
yes to the slot.
i definetly remember checking it out, the old 214 just has a hole while the pro x has a very nicely shaped, well lubricating, almost sexy, slot.

Gents - this is awesome help - thanks.  Apparently the spacer is needed with the Honda rod but yep the Pro X fits straight in!

i'm just wondering about sleeves for these things.
from a riding point of view, would an oversized Rt2 or 3 piston work in the YZ?
or even a Dt360a piston kit? just wondering as i know RT1 oversizes can go up to 2mm or does the yz360a run a chrome bore?

and while you are talking about sleeves - does anybody know where you can get one of those?  I am having good luck so far with pistons, rings, rods but need a sleeve and just starting to chase a gasket set.

ta again

a 360 sleeve might be an odd one.  google LAsleeves etc they are online so you will at least know if they made em.

i have the RT1/2/3 360cc gasket set, check to see if they are the same if so i have a few of em :P

i found a guy who custom make steel liners for under $400 fitted.  top effort i think and the windows will be lining perfectly to the bore cuts

A sleeve for my 360B arrived from LA Sleeve today. They no longer list it on their website, but they do have them.
Part No: YA-332.
$230 USD + postage. Arrived at my door for $300AUD.
The problem I now have and hope some of you Yammie gurus can help me with, is the pistons I had sourced as YZ360 pistons
have turned up and they are in fact I believe RT360 and RT2 MX pistons. Part No's 332-11635-01 & also an oversize 322-11630-10.
My trusted mechanics are concerned that the cut-aways in the back of these pistons are different to the origianal and more importantly think the position of the ring locating pin is wrong and will cause the ring to catch on an intake port.
Can any of you guys help with your experience/knowledge, or should I keep hunting for genuine YZ?

Cheers
Rod
