gearbox bearings
« on: November 23, 2013, 12:56:43 pm »
Hi guys,
still chasing 09264-20002 RM465/500 gearbox bearing and 09380-28004 gearbox circlip, tried just about everywhere, anyone got any unusual sources, or have any you no longer need? both sit on the same shaft as the countershaft sprocket but on the opposite end to sprocket if that makes sense? (driven shaft)

cheers,
Kt

I tried them a while back, even though they "advertise" that they supply a full set of gearbox/bottom end bearings their reply was that "we cannot supply THAT bearing,it is Suzuki only", not sure if anyone has used their RM465/500 gearbox bearing sets and could confirm what they were actually supplied though???????

yep been down that road, but with the T250 even had the correct p/n but wrong bearing, used old bearing as it was in great shape and change oil after every race meeting, so if you source the right size it can be machined for the clip, good luck as I went to all the bearing manufacturers and came back with suzuki only, now buying all and any engines for spares

Thanks mate, i am trying them again, they say can supply full set so surely MUST be able to supply a one off bearing from the set, people like McMasters reckon they must be specially made for Vintage Suzuki OR they are NOT supplying a full set. Hell, i dont care if i have to buy a full set if it is in fact a FULL SET!
